Stan Lee is dead

Stan Lee the man Who was responsible for iconic characters such as X-men,Thor, Iron Man, Spider man e.t.c is dead. The legendary writer, editor and publisher of marvel comics died on the 12th of November in Los Angeles, California, United States.
The cause of his death is pneumonia

Lee's Biography


 In 1939 Lee got a job as a gofer for $8 a week at Marvel predecessor Timely Comics, 2 years later he wrote a two page story titled "The Traitor's Revenge!" They was used as text filler to qualify the company for the inexpensive magazine mailing rate and he used the pen name Stan Lee.

He was named interim editor at 19 by publisher Martin Goodman. In 1942, he enlisted in the army and served in the Signal corps where he wrote manuals and training films with the group that included Oscar winners. After the war, he returned to the publishers and served as editor for years.


 Lee recalled visiting New York office by Federico Fellini, who wanted to talk only about spider-man. In 1972 Lee was named publisher for Marvel and was to spend all his time promoting the company.
  He moved to Los Angeles in 1980 to set up an animated studio and to build relationships in Hollywood.
  Long before Marvel characters made it to movies they appeared on television, an animated Spider man show. In 2002 Lee published an autobiography on himself named "The Amazing Life of Stan Lee
 
 Survivors include his daughter and younger brother. Another daughter named Jan died still an infant his wife also died last year.

 He died at Cedars-sina medical center, Los Angeles, California, United States at the age of 95

Saraki mourns OPC founder FASEHUN

Senate president ;Bukola Saraki Senate President Abubakar Bukola Saraki, Sunday, expressed sadness over the death of the founder of the Oodua Peoples Congress, OPC, Dr Frederick Fasehun. Saraki, in a statement by his Special Adviser, Media and Publicity, Yusuph Olaniyonu, in Abuja, described the late Fasehun as a patriotic Nigerian who served his country meritoriously during his lifetime.
